The Queen Mary left some of her turquoise jewels and brooches to her granddaughter in 1953.

It was again worn in the year 2024, from Queen Camilla at Ascot, she matched the delicate turquoise and diamond brooch with a pair of turquoise and diamond earrings in horseshoe design with a double row of diamonds and oval turquoise in the centre.
