The sketch of the tiara was on display at Sotheby's "Masters of Design" exhibition in London from 18 February to 8 March 2016. The exhibition looked at the tastes and styles of the early 20th century as reflected through a rare private collection of jewellery and silver drawings from the 1890s to the 1950s, including works from celebrated names such as Cartier, Van Cleef and Arpels, and Bolin.

The princess is a descendant of the Austrian heir apparent Archduke Franz Ferdinand ahd his wife, Countess Sophie Chotek and the daughter of Princess Elizabeth of Luxembourg.
Princess Anita Hohenberg (born 1958) married in 1978 the French Count de La Romée Poeze d'Harambure.
