A diamond brooch in the form of a knot with a large centre brilliant and 3 row collet drops at the ends. Designed as an openwork stylized bow set throughout with cushion-shaped diamonds and a central detachable stone weighing more as 5 carats, supporting tassels collet-set with cushion- and pear-shaped diamonds made around 1860.
In 1953 the Duchess of Gloucester was photographed in the year of the coronation by the photographer Dorothy Wilding. In this photograph the Duchess is shown wearing a brooch, see above.

Hochzeitsgeschenke des Herzogs von Gloucester an seine Braut Alice

Zur Hochzeit 1935 bekam Lady Alice von Ihrem Mann eine Tiara aus Brillanten und Diamanten geformt wie ein Band aus Laubwerk mit Bögen, Schnoerkel und Verziehrungen aus runden und tropfenförmigen Brillanten ausgefasst,mit einem Rahmen aus Brillanten, das vorher im Besitz der Mutter des Bräutigams war, oben ein Bild von Queen Mary mit dem Diadem. Sowie später Alice Herzogin von Gloucester mit dem Juwel

Ebanfalls oben in zwei Bildern zu sehen, ein weiteres Geschenk, eine grosse Diamantbrosche in Knotenform mit einem grossen Brillanten im Mittelpunkt, die Bänder 3 reihig mit Diamanten ausgefasst, die mit beweglichen Tropfen Diamanten am Ende besetzt ist.
Ein Paar rechteckige Smaragde mit Diamant-Kranz als Ohrringe gearbeitet in Platin.
Zwei bewegliche Armbänder aus Platin mit Perlen bzw alternativ mit Diamanten besetzt.
