Die Familie der Grafen Lanckoronski war eine sehr reiche polnische Magnatenfamilie.
Kasimir Graf Lanckoronski heiratete Leonie Gräfin Potocka für
sie liess er bei Chaumet in Paris einer der schönsten Schmuckstücke
des Pariser Juwelierhauses fertigen.

The
Antique sapphire and diamond necklace was made by Chaumet for the wealthy
Polish Countess Lanckoronski.
The brooch with three sprays of sapphires and diamonds terminating in
two uneven hanging sapphire drops sold in auction at Geneva in 1977
for 480 000 SwFr.
The tiara had quite tall briolette sapphires rising above the large
sapphires and diamond motifs and was sold for SwFr 65000.
There was also an antique sapphire and diamond corsage ornament which
was sold for 35 000 SwFr. The stomacher with a central bow and sapphire
motif with garlands to either side terminated in smaller bow and sapphire
motifs. All in all, it was an impressive parure.
Countess Leonie Potocka married Count Kazimierz Lanckoronski who died
in 1874
