Clan Campbell Schmuck der englischen Prinzessin Louise, Herzogin von Argyll Prinzessin Louise von Grossbritannien und Nordirland, Tochter von Queen Victoria Dieses Kollier ist ein Geschenk, des Campbell Clans an Queen Victorias 4. Tochter Louise anlässlich ihrer Hochzeit mit dem späteren Duke of Argyll. Das Campbell Clan Juwel besteht aus einem Medaillon in ovaler Form mit Anhänger, das ausgefasst ist mit Perlen und Diamanten, die Mitte des Medaillons besteht aus einer großen und sehr schönen Orient Perle, umgeben von einer genau festgelegten Reihe von großen Diamanten in Größe und Reinheit, die äußere Reihe, besteht aus den großen Diamanten, es scheint von einer Leichtigkeit wie selten Ornamente in dieser Art. Der charakteristische Teil des Juwels ist der Anhänger mit einem gebogenen Myrtezweig (Campbell Abzeichen), ausgefasst mit Smaragd, es trägt in der Mitte die Fahne von Lorne, bestehend aus Saphiren auf einer Ebne aus Diamanten, der Rahmen auch aus Saphiren und Diamanten, trägt die Aufschrift "No obliviscaris". Die Kette wurde von der Fa Garrard gefertigt.. Das Armband oben war ein Geschenk an die Menschen in der Mull. Die Brosche oben links ist die" Brosche von Lorne". Die Diamant-Armband-Geschenk der Einwohner von Windsor "Das Armband ist ein wie ein Bandeau geformt, als Zentrum ein Sterns mit einem großen Diamanten, umgeben von acht kleineren Diamanten und diese wieder, umgeben von einer Einfassung. Die Diamanten auf die beiden Linien sind schön geordnet. Das Schmuckstück hat die Fassungen aus Silber . Sein Wert 275 £. " Prinzessin Louise trug dieses Armband an ihrer Hochzeit. Jewels | Princess Louise Duchess of Argyll The Clan Campbell Jewel is composed of pearls and diamonds, from which is suspended a locket of oval form, with pendant; the centre of the locket is formed by a large and extremely beautiful Oriental pearl, surrounded by a closely set row of diamonds of large size and great brilliancy; the outer border also consists of large diamonds, but set in such a manner as to give an appearance of lightness very seldom obtained in ornaments of a similar description; the pendant, the most characteristic portion of the jewel, is suspended by an emerald sprig of bog myrtle(the Campbell badge), and bears in the centre the galley of Lorne, composed of sapphires on a pave of diamonds, the border, also of sapphires and diamonds, bears the inscription " No obliviscaris". The necklace was made by Messrs. Garrard. The bracelet above was a gift from the people of the Mull. The brooch above left is called the brooch of Lorne. The Diamond Bracelet—gift of the inhabitants of Windsor “The bracelet is of a coronet-like shape, the centre being a star composed of a large diamond surrounded by eight smaller ones, and these again surrounded by a sort of garter. The diamonds upon the two bands are beautifully arranged. The jewel has a silver setting (this, we believe, was by request).
