Prinzessin Anne Murat | Herzogin von Mouchy| Schmuck und Juwelen |Hochzeitsgeschenke   Prinzessin Anne Murat | Herzogin von Mouchy| S chmuck und Juwelen |Hochzeitsgeschenke| Pasha Diamant Nach einer Idee von Uwe Ripka (deutsche Version) Zu der glanzvollen Hochzeit, die im Dezember 1865 zwischen Antoine Just Léon Marie, 6th Duc de Mouchy, 6th Prince-Duc de Poix (1841 –1909) und der Prinzessin Anne Murat (1841-1924) stattfand, wurden selbstredend kostbarste Juwelengeschenke für die Braut in Auftrag gegeben. Dieser Corbeille de Mariage, den der Bräutigam sowie die Eltern beider Familien zusammen gestellt haben, wurde bei Lemoine & Fils anlässlich der Hochzeit 1865 ausgestellt und liest sich wie folgt. - Eine herrliches Rivière-Collier aus sehr großen Brillanten. - Ein sehr großer Diamant (der unter anderem als Mittelteil in dem folgenden Diadem getragen werden konnte). - Ein geschlossenes Diadem „Couronne en Fleurons“ (oben abgebildet und in der Fotografie rechts). Es besteht komplett aus Brillanten, wovon die „Fleurons“ abgenommen und mit zusätzlichen, großen Tropfenperlen ausgetauscht und aufragend eingefügt werden konnten. Diese großen Perltropfen ermöglichten auch alternative Anhänger für das Rivière Collier, bei dem sie vorne angehängt getragen werden konnten. - Zwei große Schulter-Broschen in Form von Schleifen komplett mit Brillanten besetzt. - Zwei goldene Armreifen im griechischen Stil, die mit Brillanten umsäumt und deren mittige Mäander-Bänder mit großen Brillanten abwechseln. - Ein großer Stern mit Brillanten (oben abgebildet). - Eine Garnitur aus Broschen mit Perlen, die von Brillanten umgeben und mit daran hängenden, großen Tropfenperlen versehen sind. - Ein Collier aus schwarzen Perlen. - Eine Aigrette mit einem großen Saphir und Brillanten (oben abgebildet). - Eine Brosche mit zwei großen Saphir Cabochons und Brillanten. - Eine Parure aus Familienbesitz bestehend aus Smaragden und Brillanten (in Memoiren wird dieser Schmuck als historisch benannt). - Eine Parure mit Türkisen und Brillanten. - Ein Collier und dazugehörige Ohrringe mit rosé-farbenen Korallen und Brillanten. Eine, mit Sicherheit nicht vollständige Aufzählung enthält unter anderem Juwelen aus dem Juwelierhaus Lemoine & Fils, welches der langjährige Lieferant der Herzöge von Mouchy war, aber auch Aufträge des Hauses Petiteau, hier im alleinigen Wert schon von 180.000 Francs. Besonders aber ist der bereits oben erwähnte, sehr große Diamant im damaligen Wert von 500.000 Francs heraus zu stellen. Um diesen Stein rankten sich schon damals allerlei Mythen und Verwirrungen, denn er könnte aus dem Besitz von Ibrahim Pascha von Ägypten (1789-1848) stammen, der ihn noch kurz vor seinem Tod 1848 unter mysteriösen Umständen erwarb. Dieser einzigartige, mit einer oktagonalen Form versehene blauweiße, indische Diamant von 40 Karat und absoluter Reinheit, galt als der schönste Diamant, der jemals im Besitz eines ägyptischen Herrschers war. Da die späteren Besitzverhältnisse nie offen gelegt wurden, ist anzunehmen, dass der Stein wahrscheinlich an seinen Nachfolger Abbas I. fiel. Danach dürfte er in den Besitz von Mohamed Saïd Pascha übergegangen sein, der 1863 verstarb und von dem der Herzog von Mouchy ihn erworben haben soll. Nach dem Ableben von Mohamed Saïd Pascha trat danach sein Neffe Ismail Pascha die Regentschaft in Ägypten an, der jedoch seltsamerweise im selben Jahr des Todes von Mohamed Saïd Pascha auch einen großen Diamanten außer Landes gebracht und direkt 1863 an einen Engländer verkauft haben soll. An dieser Stelle bricht in den diversen historischen Aufzeichnungen zu dem Stein, jedoch jede weitere zukünftige Provenienz, ab. Hier ergäbe sich allerdings nun eine gewagte These, womit sich eine Verbindung zu großen Diamanten an die Juwelengeschenke der Anna de Mouchy anknüpfen ließe, die einen sehr aus ägyptischem Vorbesitz zu ihrer Hochzeit 1865 erhalten haben soll. Wie lange dieser Stein dann allerdings im Besitz von Anna de Mouchy verblieb ist nicht belegt. Ein weiterer Ansatz ergäbe, dass neun Jahre nach ihrem Tod, ein 40-karätiger, hochfeiner Diamant, der inzwischen sogenannte „Pasha von Ägypten“ von dem Londoner Pfandleihhaus T.M. Sutton dem Juwelier Louis Cartier angeboten wurde. Wie das Haus Cartier genau mit dem Angebot verfuhr ist unklar. Aufzeichnungen zufolge erwarb Jahre später wiederum der italienische Juwelier Bulgari den Stein von König Faruk von Ägypten und verkaufte ihn an Barbara Hutton, die den Diamanten von Cartier in eine runde Form mit 38,19 Karat umschleifen ließ und fortan als Ring getragen hat. Diese Abfolge ist gewagt, doch möglicherweise handelt es sich hier um ein und den Selben Diamanten aus dem Vorbesitz der Anna de Mouchy. Auch die in der Aufzählung enthaltene Smaragd Parure gibt einige Rätsel auf, denn sie könnte aus dem Nachlass von Caroline Murat, Prinzessin Bonaparte, stammen und an ihren Sohn Lucien, dem Vater von Anna vermacht worden sein. Es bleibt damit zu überlegen, was der Brautvater, als herausragendes Geschenk für diese Verbindung an seine Tochter übergab! Könnte es dieser historische Schmuck gewesen sein? Über diese Smaragde ist wenig bekannt, doch trug ihn Caroline Murat, auf den Gemälden, dokumentiert von Gérard und XXXX zu allen wichtigen Anlässen wie der Krönung Napoléons oder zu Hochzeit Napoléons mit der Erzherzogin Marie Louise von Österreich. Anna de Mouchy war ihrem Smaragd Schmuck scheinbar sehr zugetan und trug ihn u.a. 1869 anlässlich der Hochzeit ihres Bruders Achilles mit XXXXX. Um ihre Verbindung zum Haus Bonaparte heraus zu stellen. Diese Verbindung wurde unter Napoléon III mit großem, offiziellem Aufwand begangen und Anna de Mouchy, stand mit ihrer direkten Verbindung zum Kaiserhaus, diesem Anlass sehr nahe, der Schwester Napoléon Bonapartes. Evtl Ergänzungen folgen. Weitere Geschenke waren u.a. von den folgenden Persönlichkeiten: - Kaiser Napoléon III: ein Collier mit Perlen und Brillanten das von Alexandre-Gabriel Lemonnier geschaffen wurde und ca. 200.000 Francs gekostet hat. - Khedive Ismail Pascha von Ägypten: zwei Gürtelschließen und ein Diadem mit Brillanten. Weitere Juwelen aus dem Besitz der Anna de Mouchy: Herzogin Anne de Mouchy erhielt 1879 von Kaiserin Eugénie persönlich deren brillantgefasste Smaragd-Kleeblattbrosche als Geschenk. Das sogenannte „Trèfle de Compiègne“ war der Kaiserin liebstes Souvenir, das sie 1852 als eines der ersten Geschenke von Napoléon III in Compiègne noch vor ihrer Hochzeit als Brautwerbung erhielt.         Princess Anne Murat | Duchesse de Mouchy|Jewels| Wedding gifts and Presents Princess Anne Murat | Duchesse de Mouchy| Jewels | Wedding Gifts and Presents   The marriage of Princess Anna Murat with the Duke de Mouchy was solemnised Monday in the chapel of the Tuileries. The evening was simply, the fact, and that the bride and bridegroom have given 3000fr. to the poor of the parish. By special favour the civil marriage, which the by the laws France has any legal validity, took place at the house of her father, Prince Lucien Murat, No. 2 Avenue Montaigne, instead of at the mayoralty. At eleven the Court carriages in grand gala drew up before the house in the Avenue Montaigne and the bride with her father and bridesmaids were conducted to the Tuileries in a carriage and six. In the chapel, which is very small and could scarcely hold the extremely select invited company the Emperor, Empress, and the Imperial Prince occupied the State pew. Only the Empress was seated and the Princess Hohenzollern, the Princess Mathilde and the Princess Christine Bonaparte. On the Emperor's were the Prince Hohenzolleren and the Imperial Prince. One of the bridegroom's witnesses was his relative the Duke de Valencay. The other was the Prince Marc de Beauvau, but a domestic calamity prevented him from attending. It is a well-known fact that many of the Duke's grand relations who belong to the proudest family in France stayed away because they did not think the marriage good enough for him. The Princess Anna Murat's witnesses were Prince Joachim Murat, Lieutenant-Colonel of the Guides, and Prince Lucien Bonaparte standing on the Mouchy's right. All the officers, the Emperor's household and the ministers were in the galleries. The limited space in the nave the chapel was crowded with invited spectators. The ceremony was performed the Archbishop of Paris, who, according to custom, addressed an admonitory speech to the spouses, which, however, was made very short. A grand mass in music was performed, in the course of which Mdlle. Block, the new contralto of the Opera, sang Cherubini's Ave Maria, and was given by a recruit of the Imperial Chapel. After breakfast at the Tuileries the bride and bridegroom started for the Duke's principal countrv residence. Mouchy-le-Castel. It is said they will in Paris for the New Year's festivities at the Tuileries. The French court jeweler M. Lemoine & Fils was the long-time supplier to the dukes of Mouchy and thus also for the wedding gifts for the bride, Princess Anne Murat on 18 December 1865 with Antoine Just Léon Marie, 6th Duc de Mouchy, 6th Prince-Duc de Poix (Paris, 19 April 1841 - Paris, 2 February 1909) - A magnificent Riviere of diamonds - An aigrette of diamonds with a large sapphire - pictured above - Two large shoulder loops made of diamonds - A "Spanish Duchess Crown" completely of diamonds of which the "Fleurons" can be removed and exchanged with large drop beads. These pearls can also be attached to the Rivière, at the top of the picture, as well as in the picture to the right of the Duchess. - A set of boutons (brooches) with beads surrounded by diamonds and hanging large drop beads. - Two bracelets with diamonds see above in the sketch. - A brooch with two large sapphire cabochons set with diamonds. - A complete parure of turquoises and diamonds - A necklace and earrings of pink coral surrounded with diamonds. - A magnificent parure of emeralds and diamonds. - The big star with diamonds pictured, but is missing in the listing !! - Jewelry by Lord Dudley - Two belt buckles / belt buckle Viceroy of Egypt (4,000,000f) "The trousseau of the future Duchess of Mouchy occupies all the feminine world of Paris. The Empress does not patronise lace, where as Princess Murat is a connoisseur of that precious material. The manufactories of France, Belgium and England are therefore ransacked by her future husband to supply this fancy. The wonder the corbeille, however, will neither be the breviary, for which the Empress has not hesitated to expend 80,000fr, nor the fairy tissues of Brussels, Honiton, or Lille, but a small casket of gold and ebony, sculptured, carved, and chased, the disciples of Benvenuto Cellini could do it, and containing the well authenticated swaddling clothes of Henry IV—a suggestive if not artistic bridal gift, to say the least of it. The descriptions which have been published of the marvellous treasures which are to both offered the enamoured bridegroom to the Princess have had the unfortunate result of suggesting attempted robbery of the whole corbeille, which the thieves supposed be att the mansion of the bride’s father. His Majesty has presented a marriage present a pearl and diamond necklace the value of 200,000 francs, or (£16,000) and the Empress has given her wedding dress, the cost of which is francs, or addition, the young couple will have the use of the Palace Fontainebleau. Earlier, the Princess Anna Murat, now Duchess Mouchy, accompanied her father on a tour in  Egypt. In remembrance of this visit Ismail Pasha has sent a present to new duchess, on the occasion of her marriage, a diamond coronet worth £400. The contract of marriage between the Duke de Mouchy and the Princess Anna Murat has been signed by M. Mocquard the Emperor's notary and son of his late private secretary. The duke has a fortune of 8,000,000f. The gives the bride 2,000,000f. as a wedding portion, and also presents to her a necklace worth 500,000f. with other valuable jewellery. M. Petiteaut alone received orders to the amount of 180,000f. The Empress, who was very close to the Princess, presented her, the wedding-dress, of Alencon lace, valued at 80,000f., and a Prayer-book worth 36,000f. In 1871, the gift of the Emperor of France to the Princess Anne Murat was been sold in London for 90,000 francs. The necklace was made by Lemonnier, and its original cost was not less than 300,000 francs (£12,000). While diamonds are increasing in value, pearls seem to be somewhat depreciated. Lemoine fils, fournisseur des ducs de Mouchy depuis de longues années. La grande parure se compose de : Une rivière de brillants magnifiques. Une aigrette de diamants avec un gros saphir au milieu de l'applique. Couronne de duchesse en brillants. Deux grands nœuds d'épaules en brillants. Une couronne de duchesse tout en brillants et dont les fleurons et retirent à volonté pour faire Place' à de grosses poires en perles qui peuvent être également adaptées à la rivière. Une garniture de boutons composée de perles entourées de brillants avec de grosses poires de perles tombantes. Deux bracelets tours de bras en brillants. Etoile en brillants, Aigrette en diamants et saphir. Bracelet en brillants. On admirait encore, en fait d'autres bijoux, une broche compose de deux gros saphirs cabochons et enrichie de brillants; une parure complète en turquoises et brillants ; un collier et boucles d'oreilles de corail rose entourés de brillants, enfin une magnifique parure d'émeraudes enrichie également de brillants. Le trèfle de Compiègne |Les bijoux de l’Impératrice Eugénie The Ex-Empress Eugenie was famously superstitious with regard to lucky trinkets. When first betrothed; she received from the Emperor a plain gold ring, which she never afterwards took from her finger, and a pin in the design of a shamrock or trefoil of emeralds mounted in brilliant>> No matter what the color of her dress, she never failed to put on this ornament until the death of her husband. Then, of course, she left off coloured jewels; but not for long, "lest," as she said, "she should sadden her son's youth." She still had a fancy that the trinket would bring her good fortune, and wore it after her son's departure for Zululand. The 19th of June, 1879, brought her the fatal news that destroyed all her human hopes. She never wore her treasure again, but gave the clover to her friend, the Duchess de Mouchy, saying, "It is my dearest relic and I have regarded it for a long time as a fortunate talisman. I do not wish it to be cast aside. Look upon it every evening as a souvenir of us, and may it be to you a token of happiness and of loving friendship.' The Empress is at present leading a very quiet life at the Cap Martin Hotel, going daily to look at her villa, the furnishing of which is almost completed. In spite of her age and delicate health, she is a very imposing figure.
