Diamant Empire Diadem der Grossherzogin von Luxemburg
Die Herkunft dieses Diadems ist unbekannt, jedoch war Herzog Adolph von Nassau, in erster Ehe mit Grossfürstin Elisabeth Michailowna (1826-1845) von Russland verheiratet, der Nichte von Zar Alexander I., sie hatte zur reichen Mitgift, auch einige wunderbare Romanov Juwelen erhalten.
Nicht nur seine Enkelin, Grossherzogin Charlotte, trug dieses Diadem, sondern auch ihre Schwester Hilda, als sie Adolf Johann Maria Franz-Joseph Hubertus Agapit Fürst zu Schwarzenberg (1890-1950) am 29. Oktober 1930 auf Schloss Berg heiratete. Erkennbar auf dem Foto auch das Diamant Halsband, ein sogenanntes Riviere, eine Reihe sehr grosser Diamanten, das von den Grossherzoginnen gerne getragen wurde.Die amtierende Grossherzogin von Luxemburg, oben im Bild als sie 2006 der erste Mal, das enorme Diamant Diadem in der Öffentlichkeit trug.

The Diamond Tiara of Grand Duchess of Luxemburg
So the origin of this oustanding laurel-leaf-diamond-tiara is not known, but some important jewels are of Russian origin, her grandfather`s first wife had brought a rich dowry upen their marriage.
On January 31, 1844, Adolph of Nassau married Elisabeth Mikhailovna, Grand Duchess of Russia, she was called "Lili".
Hardly one year after the wedding with duke Adolf of Nassau, the Russian Grand Duchess Elizabeth died during the birth of its first child. The princess, niece of Alexander I., is buried in the "Russische Kirche" at Wiesbaden.
This richly decorated Russian Orthodox church was completed in 1855 as a tomb and chapel for Princess Elizabeth of Nassau, died in at age 19,( it is modelled after the Cathedral of Christ the Redeemer in Moscow, with a lot of marble and 5 gilded bulb domes, created 1847-1855).She could be buried for religious reasons only at a orthodox place.
Prinzess Hilda (1897-1979) of Luxembourg-Nassau, sister of the late Grand Duchess Charlotte, wore this tiara also on her wedding-day, she married Prince Adolf zu Schwarzenberg in 1930.
