This bracelet was a splendid wedding gift to Queen Ena, Victoria Eugenie of Spain from Carlos, Prince of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, brother-in-law and cousin. Don Carlos, was the widower of the Princess of Asturias.
The important ruby and diamond bracelet was probably worn by the bride on her wedding day.
Princess Louise Augusta of Schleswig-Holstein, first cousin to the bride, gave a green enamel fan with sticks, upon which was an Empire design in silver and gold encrusted with jewels, of her own creation. Probably on the picture on the top.
The diamond pendant the work of Lacloche Madrid was presented to the new Queen of Spain by the English residents of Madrid, Barcelona, Cadiz, Malaga, La Coruna and the Canary Islands.
