Crown Jewels are NOT the personal property of the Sovereign, but belong to the Crown
The Crowns, scepters and regalia, including the George IV Diadem, are part of the Crown Jewels. More properly described as Crown Jewellery, are the pieces specifically so designated.
They aren't all that many but include the Jubilee necklace and brooch, the ruby necklace, tiara and sundry pieces worn by Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, the Hanovrian Fringe, the William IV brooch and wheat ear brooches, Timur Ruby Necklace, two necklaces of colletted diamonds, one with the drop diamond from the Timur Ruby necklace, certain pearl bracelets and diamond bracelets, etc.
For the most part, most of HM's overwhelming collection in personal property and she may do as she likes with it.
