For their youngest daughter-in-law Eulalia, the Prince and Princess decided to give a turquoise and diamond parure with an absolutely avant-garde peacock bandeau and a matching necklace, richly set with turquoises and diamonds.

The turquoise necklace has 37 oval turquoise cabochons set in diamond clusters. Two large clusters can be linked to an inner loop of clusters. Thus the necklace can be worn either as one long sautoir which was very fashionable, or in the shorter version as illustrated above,  or even as a bracelet.

Zur Türkis Parure, dem Türkis-Schmuck der Prinzessin Eulalia von Thurn und Taxis, gehörte ein reiches Halsband mit 37 ovalen Türkis-Cabochons im Verlauf, jeweils gerahmt mit Diamanten zum Cluster.
Das Collier konnte durch mehrer Schliessen verändert werden, wie oben abgebildet als doppelreihigen Halsschmuck, sowie verlängert zum Sautoir oder als einreihiges Halsband. Daneben konnte man auch Armbänder aus dem Collier zusammenstellen.
Im Gegensatz zum Türkis Diadem wurde das Collier schon am 3. Dezember 1898 bei der Firma Kreuter Hanau mit der Produktions Nr 16339 erwähnt.
Die Fürstenfamilie hat neben einigen historischen Ankäufen wie in Paris bei den französischen Kronjuwelen und auf den Weltausstellungen, einige wichtigen Stücke bei der Firma Kreuter in Auftrag gegeben.
