Grosse ovale Prunkbrosche als Bruststecker aus schönen Smargden
in Treppenschliff und Diamanten ca 1860 auch als Anhänger tragbar,
dieses Juwel lässt sich vielfach auch als kleinere Broschen auseinander
nehmen und als als Einhänger und Clip tragen.
Links im Bild die Fürstin Gloria mit dem kompletten Brustschmuck
mit Unterteil, links dann das Mittelstück ohne Unterteil und den
berühmten grossen Smaragdtropfen.
Der Schmuck wurde verkauft, anlässlich der grossen Auktion, nach
dem Tod des Fürsten Johannes um die fälligen Erbschaftssteuern
zu zahlen.
Magnificent Emerald and Diamond Stomacher Brooch and Pendeant made
ca 1860, the central lobed cluster set with a larger octagonal emerald
within a border of small brilliants and eight step-sut emeralds, the
frame of entwined looped ribbons entirely set with diamonds, the central
cluster is detachable to a form of a smaller brooch or a clasp, Fürstin
Margarete wear this stomacher brooch also as Fürstin Gloria in
the picture above.
The Fürstin wore the brooch with the famous facetted
emerald-drops.
