Set in modern gold mounts to be worn as a necklace, a braclet, a brooch
and a ring.
Tsar Nicholas married Princess Charlotte of Prussia (1798 - 1860). She
was since then called Grand Princess Alexandra Feodorovna. Charlotte
was a daughter of Frederick William III of Prussia and Princess Louise
of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. Nicholas, was the Emperor of Russia from 1825
until 1855 and king of Poland from 1825 until 1831. He was born in Gatchina
to Paul I of Russia and Sophie Marie Dorothea of Württemberg. He
was a younger brother to Alexander I of Russia and Grand Duke Constantine
Pavlovich of Russia.
