Das Diadem aus dem Familienschmuck er Welfen, bestehend aus fünf Elementen von 3-Blättrigem Klee ist
mit einer Basis aus Arkanthus, alles mit Diamanten ausgefasst, wobei
im Zentrum der Kleeblätter jeweils ein grösserer Diamant sitzt.
Die Kleeblätter sind auf einer Basis aufgestellt und durch Girlanden
miteinander verbunden. In der Mitte das grösste Element nach links
und rechts im Verlauf.
Die Tiara war früher im Besitz von Prinzessin
Olga von Hannover und Cumberland, Herzogin von Braunschweig und Lüneburg,
Prinzessin von Großbritannien und Irland 1884-1958. Und es dürfte sich wohl um die Fragmente einer früheren Herzogin Krone - Ducal-Coronet handeln, die in Zusammenhang mit der Vermählung von Friedericke Herzogin von Cumberland erwähnt wird.
Die TIMES schreibt 1815 zur Trauungszeremonie nach anglikanischem Ritus in England, die der ersten Hochzeitsfeier in Braunschweig folgte:
Die königliche Eheschliessung des Herzogs und der Herzogin Cumberland fand am Mittwoch im Carlton-Haus statt, um halb sechs Uhr, es war eine private Zeremonie, weder ihre Majestät die Königin , die Prinzessinnen noch die hohen Offiziere waren bei der Zeremonie anwesend. Die Trauung hielt der Erzbischof von Canterbury. Diese folgte einer ersten kirchlichen Hochzeitszeremonie vom 29. Mai 1815 in Neustrelitz Deutschland.
Das königliche Paar war schon früher untergebracht worden, aber es wurde erwähnt, daß der Kommandeur, mit dem Großen Siegel die Einverständnis des Prinz Regents angeheftet hatte, ohne die vorherige Einreichung des Geheimen Rates registriert wurde.
Die Einladung zur Eheschliessung und dem folgenden Hochzeitsessen wurde nicht in der üblichen Weise und Etikette, übermittelt.
Es waren anwesend der königliche Herzog von York, Herzog von Clarence und Herzog von Kent.
Der Duke von York kam im Sedan Stuhl,wegen einer Verletzung.
Seine Königliche Hoheit trug die Feldmarschall-Uniform und die verschiedenen Orden, die ihm verliehen wurden, der Herzog von Clarence trug die Uniform eines Admirals und seine verschiedenen Orden. Der Herzog von Kent eine Uniform des Feldmarschalls und den Strumpfband Orden.
Um sechs Uhr zogen zwei Pagen, mit des Prinz Regents Kutsche zum Cumberland-House, um ihre Königlichen Hoheit die Braut,zu holen, zusammen mit den Dienern in ihren Staatslivrees, als eine Personenmenge sich im Palasthof versammelt hatte, um die Herzogin zu sehen. Sie kamen um viertel nach sechs Uhr im Carlton Haus an.
Das Brautkleid der Herzogin war besonders prächtig und elegant. Sie trug eine weiße Satin-Robe, die mit Gold bestickt war, mit einer ungeheuren langen Schleppe, die fünf Meter Länge hatte und eine
Seine Königliche Hoheit, der Prinz-Regent, war nun bereit, die Herzogin zu empfangen und sie von ihrem Gemächern durch die unvergleichliche Reihe von Staatsräumen zu geleiten. Ordnungsgemäß arrangiert wurde die Zeremonie unter dem Thron durchgeführt , ein Staatsakt, dazu wurde ein temporärer Altar, mit purpurroten Samt bedeckt, aufgebaut. Karminroten Samtkissen standen bereit, für diejenigen, die in der Cermony eingebunden waren, um darauf zu knien.

HERALDIK -Die Art der Krone im Wappen wird in der Wappenbeschreibung festgelegt! Welche Kronenform gewählt wird, ist von der gesellschaftlichen Stellung des Wappenträgers abhängig und wird mit der gewählten Rangkrone gezeigt. Sie wertet das Wappen auf.
Für die einfache Darstellung (Krone ohne Rangsymbolik) hat sich aber, wenn nicht ausdrücklich abgewichen wird, die dreizackige Krone mit
KLEEBLATT oder lilienförmigen Kronenzinken über dem Kronenreif verbreitet.
The royal marriage of the Duke and Duchess Cumberland took place on Wednesday 29 August 1815 at Carlton- House, half-past six o'clock, a private manner, neither ihe Queen's Majesty, the Princesses, nor the great officers the Household being present at the ceremony.
The marriage was solemnized the Aichbishop of Canterbury. This event was followed after a first wedding ceremony earlier on 29th Mai in 1815>> at Neustrelitz Germany.
The Royal Couple had been previously man ted, but was found to informal, inconsequence of the Lord Chancellor having appended the Great Seal the Prince Regent's consent, without its having been previously submitted to the Privy Council, and registered in their hooks.
The invitation to the marriage (and the wedding dinner that followed) was not conveyed in the usual style Etiquette , ream ires, that the invitations should come from the Lord Chamberlain spech command. On the present occasion the cards weie an intimation from the Prince Regent that be marriage would solemnised at half past six, and that their presence was expected. The company invited upon this peculiar occassion, arrive soon after five o'clock, including the Royal Dukes of York, Duke of Clarence, and Duke of Kent.
The Duke York came in sedan chair, as lie still occasionally experiences extreme pain from his left arm, so not lo be able to bear the shaking a carriage.
His Royal Highness wore field-marshal's uniform, and the different orders which liave been conferred upon him, Ihe Duke of Clarence wore his admiral's uniform and his different orders. The Duke of Kent a field-marshal's uniform, and the Order of the Garter.
At six o'clock two of the Prince Regents carriages went Cumberland-House, to fetch their Royal Highnesses, with ihe servants in their state liveries, when a crowd of persons were collected the palace-yard to see the Duchess. They arrived at Carlton house at a quarter past six o'clock.
The bridal dress of the Duchess was particularly splendid and elegant. She wore a white satin robe embroidered with gold, with an immense long train, supposed to be five yards and the head-dress was a
His Royal Highness the Prince Regent was in readiness to receive the Duchess and handed her from her carnage through the matchless suite of state rooms. a shot t time after every thing being properly arranged for the ceremony to be performed under the throne, an act of State, a temporary altar, covered with a crimson velvet, having been put under it with crimson velvet cushions for those engaged in the cermony to kneel on.
The Regent entered the room, handing the Duchess followed by The Duke of Cumberland, their suite, the Dukes York, Clarence, and Kent, tbe Duke Mecklenburg, the Lord Chancellor, the Lord President tbe Council, First Lord the Treasury, the Chitncellor of the Exchequer, the Secretary af Slate for the War and Colonial Department, the President of the Board of Control, the .Master of the Mint, the Officers of and the Royal Household, the Baron and Baroness Whetingham, and other person* of distinstion, who were honoured with being invited upon this occasion. Viscount Chetwynd the of the Privy Council, attended, and produced the record of the Royal Assent for the marriage of the Duke of Cumber land to tbe Duchess, and also the decision which took place of the Lords of the Council, as to tbe necessity of a re-marriage in England, according the rites and ceremonies of the Church of England.
The Archbishop of Canterbury then proceeded read the marriage form His Grace read what is called the long service upon the occasion, and not what used at marriages in general, and be read the whole except the responses, winch were given by the Bishop London and the Rev. Mr. the Clerk of the Closet. .
The Regent did the Duchess the honour of present!ng her his Royal Brother, or what is generally termed, gave her away to him. After the solemn ceremony had concluded, the Duke and Duchess sanctioned their marriage by their signatures.
The same was witnessed bry the Regent, the Royal Dukes piesent, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Bishop of London, the Lord Chancellor, and the rest of the Cabinet Ministers present.
The Clergy and Cleiks of the Parishes of St. Martin's the-Fields, aod St. James's, the City and Liberty Westminster, attended to receive the registry of the marriage, as it so happens that Carlton House is in both the parishes. They also attended at the time of the baptism of the Princess Charlotte Wales on the same account. The Warden the Chapel Royal, St. Palace, also attended.

The Prince Regent sets off on his tour on Thursday. The Duke and Duchess of Cumberland remaind in England a few days.
Duchess Frederica of Mecklenburg-Strelitz (3 March 1778 – 29 June 1841), Duchess of Cumberland and later Queen of Hanover, was the consort of Ernest Augustus I of Hanover, the fifth son and eighth child of George III of the United Kingdom and Queen Charlotte.
At first she was married to Prince Louis Charles of Prussia, second son and third child of and Frederika Louisa of Hesse-Darmstadt. And named as "Princess Louis" at the royal court of Berlin. Closed to her sister the famous "Queen Louise".
After his early death she married Prince Friedrich of Solms-Braunfels (1770-1814)with him she lived in the the near of Ansbach at Triesdorf in a hounting lodge and after being widowed again in 1814, she weds her first cousin Ernest Augustus I of Hanover in 1815.
A diamond shamrock tiara was onced owned by the Princess Olga of
Hanover and Cumberland, Princess of Great Britain and Ireland, Duchess
of Brunswick-Lüneburg, Princess Olga was the youngest daughter
of Ernest Augustus, Crown Prince of Hanover (1845–1923) and Princess
Thyra of Denmark (1853–1933),she was unmarried.
Probably the orginal was a ducal coronet which was in the possession of Friedericke Duchess of Cumberland, Queen of Hanover>>
