Diamanten und Schmuck der englischen Königin Viktoria Diamant Brosche und Kette | Geschenke zum Diamant-Kronjubiläum Eine schöne Diamant-Brosche von sehr großer Leuchtkraft, ein sehr großer und weißer Diamant als zentraler Stein, einem richtigen kleinen "Berg des Lichts", umgeben von einer Reihe von anderen, zwölf kleineren Diamanten und ohne sichtbare Fassung montiert. Die Brosche wurde entworfen und ausgeführt von der Firma Carrington und Co. Die Inschrift auf dem Samt-Etui ist wie folgt: Der Königin's Diamant Jubilee, 1837-1897 von ihrem liebenden Kind und den Kindern Alexandra, Georg und May, Louis, Victoira, Maud und Charles .... es bedeutet, die Prinzessin von Wales und die Familie: der Herzog und die Herzogin von York, Prinzessin Louise, Herzogin von Fife und der Herzog von Fife, Prinzessin Victoria von Wales und Prinz Charles und Prinzessin von Dänemark - der künftige König und die Königin von Norwegen. Das gemeinsame Geschenk des Herzogs und der Herzogin von Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha, des Herzog und der Herzogin von Connaught, Prinz und Prinzessin Christian, Prinzessin Louise und des Marquess of Lorne, Prinzessin Heinrich von Battenberg und die Herzogin von Albany war eine lange Halskette, aus rechteckigen Brillant besetzten Ketten-Gliedern,der Mittelpunkt wird durch eine Kaiserkrone und wiederum die Jubiläumsdaten gebildet, mit 1837 auf der einen und 1897 auf der anderen Seite in Brillanten. Dies wurde auch von der Firma Messrs. Carrington und Co angefertigt. Das dazughörige Samtetui trägt folgende Inschrift - In Erinnerung an das Diamant Jubiläum 1837-1897, von Alfred und Marie, Arthur und Louse Margaret, Helena und Christian, Louis und Lorne, Beatrice Helen Königin Alexandra trägt diese lange Kette mit Diamanten später anlässlich eines State Openings im Parlament.     The Diamond Jubilee Cluster Brooch of Diamonds| Jewels of Queen Victoria One of Queen Victoria’s gifts was “a beautiful diamond brooch of very great brilliancy, the very large and white diamond central stone being a veritable little "mountain of light" encircled by a row of twelve other smaller diamonds and mounted to show no setting. The brooch was designed and manufactured by Messrs. Carrington and Co.” The inscription on the velvet case revealed the identity of the donors: “The Queen's Diamond Jubilee, 1837-1897. From her loving child, and children Alexandra, George and May, Louise and Fife, Victoria, Maud and Charles.”...The Princess of Wales and her children: the Duke and Duchess of York, Princess Louise, Duchess of Fife and the Duke of Fife, Princess Victoria of Wales and Prince and Princess Charles of Denmark--the future King and Queen of Norway. Pictured above is Queen Elizabeth II at the State Opening of Parliament in 2011, wearing a diamond cluster in same size and design as the clasp to a two-row pearl necklace. Queen Alexandra wore a very similar pendant to the one received by Queen Victoria at the wedding of her daughter Princess Louise. “The joint gift of the Duke and Duchess of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, the Duke and Duchess of Connaught, Prince and Princess Christian, Princess Louise and the Marquess of Lorne, Princess Henry of Battenberg and the Duchess of Albany was a long chain necklet, of the fetter link style, with the centre formed by an Imperial Crown and again the dates, with 1837 one side and 1897 on the other in brillants. This was also manufactured by Messrs. Carrington and Co. The velvet case bears the following inscription - In remembrance of the Diamond Jubilee, 1837-1897, from Alfred and Marie, Arthur and Louse Margaret, Helena and Christian, Louis and Lorne, Beatrice Helen.” The long chain set with diamonds was later worn by Queen Alexandra on the occasion of the State Opening of Parliament. The Empress Fredrick's jubilee gift was “a chrysophrase paper-weight showing the dates 1837 and 1897 with the V.R.I. between and over them the Crown in diamonds and other precious stones.” “In excellent taste is the gift of the Queen's attached cousins, the Grand Duke and Duchess of Mecklenburg Strelitz, the Duke and Duchess of Cumberland, Princess Mary of Hanover and Princess Frederica of Hanover. It is a book cover of massive gold, showing the Imperial monogram, Crown and Jubilee dates in diamonds, rubies and emeralds.
