Diamanten und Schmuck der englischen Königin Viktoria Diamant und Perlen Brosche | Geschenk zum 60. Kronjubiläum Ein weiteres Jubiläums Geschenke war die Jubilee Perlen Brosche, in deren Zentrum eine außergewöhnlich schöne irisierende Perle gefasst ist. Im Unterteil ist eine Girlande im Verlauf aus 15 feinen Diamanten befestigt, woran eine weitere, tropfenförmige Perle hängt. Die Brosche wurde passend zu dem vor 10 Jahren überreichten Geschenk anlässlich des goldenen Jubileums gefertigt, ein Perlencollier von "Den Töchtern des Kaiserreichs (Empire) ". Beides, entworfen und hergestellt von der Firma Carrington und Co. im Auftrag der Damen und Herren des Haushalts Ihrer Majestät. Der Schmuck wurde zusammen mit einem huldigenden Dankschreiben überreicht. Elizabeth die Königinmutter trug diese Brosche oft, es war einer ihrer Lieblings-Schmuckstücke, aber es ist nicht bekannt wie sie zu der Brosche kam, denn Queen Alexandra und Queen Mary, beide sehr große Schmuckliebhaberinnen sind mit dieser Brosche nie abgebildet worden. Nach dem Tod der Königinmutter, trug Königin Elizabeth II. die Perlen Brosche schon zwei Mal, jedoch ohne Diamantgirlande und sowie ohne der birnenförmigen großen Perle.     Queen Victoria's Household Diamond Jubilee Diamond and tear-drop Pearl Brooch | Jewels of Queen Victoria One of Queen Victoria's many jubilee gifts ".was a large brooch with loops of fine brilliants, the centre being an exceptionally lustrous pearl and a chain of brillants attaches another fine drop-shaped pearl as pendant, and matches the Golden Jubilee necklace presented to Her Majesty ten years ago by "The Daughters of the Empire"." This brooch was designed and made by Messrs Carrington and Co. An address accompanied the gift: We, the members, and many past members of the Queen's personal Houshold venture, with our humble duty, to tender to your Majesty our loyal and heartfelt congratulations upon the completion of the sixtieth year of Your Majesty's reign. We humbly ask Your Majesty's gracious acceptance of the accompanying token of our sincere devotion with the hope that it may be received as an humble offering from devoted servants, who esteem it as the highest honour to have been privileged to serve in Your Majesty's Household during the course of a long and illustrious reign Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother wore this brooch very often as it was one of her favourite jewels; however it is not known how it came to her. After her death, the Queen wore the pearl brooch twice without the loops of diamond and the pear-shaped large pendant pearl.
