- Smaragde und Smaragdschmuck der Herzogin von Cornwall
Camilla Herzogin von Cornwall trägt eine Brosche mit einem Smaragd
Tropfen und Diamanten, eines von drei Hochzeitsgeschenke an die Königin
Alexandra.
Ein Geschenk der Ladies von Nord Wales an Königin Alexandra, zusammen
mit den Ohrringen die, hier abgebildet sind.
Lauch, das Waliser National Emblem, als Mittelpunkt - eingebunden
im Rahmen aus Diamanten, das Spruchband mit dem Motto in Walisisch:
Die Blätter des Lauchs sind aus Smaragden gebildet,
die Wurzeln in Gold, in denen kleine Diamanten
eingesetzt sind, (Lauch, das andere Symbol ist die Narzisse).
Die Brosche wurde von Queen Elizabeth die Königin-Mutter übernommen,
die die Brosche zur Investure von Prinzen Charles als Prinz von Wales
1969 trug.
Ladies of North Wales brooch worn by the Duchess of Cornwall
Camilla Duchess of Cornwall is wearing a diamond and emerald brooch,
which was the property of Queen Alexandra.
On the occasion of her marriage, Princess Alexandra was given by the
Ladies of North Wales this large emerald and diamond oval brooch with
an emerald and diamond leek in the centre and cabochon emerald drop,
along with matching earrings(the
emerald earrings >>)
The leek is the national symbol of Wales and the legend is in Welsh.
It translates "To our Princess."
Camilla Duchess of Cornwall is wearing this brooch on her black dress
in the above picture.
The Ladies of North Wales brooch was inherited by Queen Elizabeth The
Queen Mother who wore the brooch to the investiture of Prince Charles
as Prince of Wales in 1969.
