Queen Anne of Romania wore this both watches with jeweled bracelet, on important royal occassions. The cabochon sapphire and diamond bracelet with seven rows of pearls and four oval sapphire cabochons sourrounded by diamonds,are from the jewel collection of Queen Marie of Romania. The royal bracelet was made by Cartier Paris and bought in the 1930s.
She presented the expensive gold and diamond pavee watch to her daughter-in-law Crown Princess Helena in her last will, after her death she left it to her son. The sapphire bracelet with four large sapphires are bequeted to her grandson King Michael of Romania.
His wife Queen Anne, a Princess of Bourbon-Parma,wore it at the royal weddings at Athens see above on her wrist.-
The two royal jewels are sold from Queen Anne of Romania, in the year 1986 by Sotheby's.
1- A pair of sapphire earrings given by her mother Duchess of Edinburgh,on her 44th birthday in 1919
6- on August 2, 1921, Mr. Cartier came to Queen Maria at the Ritz hotel and presented her with a series of models of diadems with pearls and diamonds. According to the will of the queen, the diadem is left to Archduchess Ileana and not to Princess Elisabeta of Romania, this will upset Elisabeta.

According to the notebook in which Queen Maria wrote down who would inherit what from her jewels, the following results:

Queen Maria of Yugoslavia, Princess of Romania: two strings of pearls; brooch with large round pearl bordered with diamonds and a small pearl (considered the best quality); a large diamond pendant with a miniature of Tsar Alexander II in the center and a flat diamond above the miniature; a pendant with a large pearl surrounded by diamonds. Maria also received the diamond diadem with sun rays that her mother bought from her sister Infanta Beatrice.
Grandson King Mihai receives: the Cartier sautoir necklace and sapphire, and a large diamond that Queen Maria had inherited from King Ferdinand. About this diamond, it was believed from the Greeks, but it was not an inheritance from the royal family of Romania and it was worn by Queen Maria, Elena at the wedding of Queen Elisabeta and Queen Ana at his wedding in 1948 in Athens.
