Die Distel-Diamant-Brosche. Diese Brosche besteht aus drei Disteln in Diamanten und war wahrscheinlich ein Geschenk des Sultans von Oman an die Königin zum diamantenen Jubiläum.
Sultan Qaboos bin Said aus Oman hatte ihr bereits eine ähnliche Brosche mit drei Kleeblättern (Emblem Nordirland) geschenkt.
Die Diamantbrosche mit Disteln ist in die symbolische Blume Schottlands.
Die drei Disteln sind in Weißgold pavee gefasst, die Blätter und Stängel sind in Gelbgold, pavee besetzt mit weißen Diamanten.
Königin Elizabeth II. trug es 2014 in Ascot, siehe oben im Bild.
Das Geschenk zum Diamanten Kronjubiläum im Jahr 2012, soll aus 4-5 Broschen bestehen, die dann jeweils mit den Nationalemblem bzw Blüten ausgeführt sind: Daffodil für Wales; die Rose für York, Kleeblatt für Nord Irland; Thistle für Scotland, es ist noch die Irish Blossom bekannt in ähnlicher Machart und Design.
Das diamantene Thronjubiläum von Elisabeth II. war im Jahr 2012 es ist das 60. Jubiläum der Thronbesteigung der britischen Königin Elisabeth II.
The Shamrock Diamond Brooch of Queen Elizabeth II.. This brooch, consists of three clovers in diamonds and probably was a Diamond Jubilee gift to The Queen from the Sultan of Oman.
Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman had already given her a similar brooch with three thistles (Scotland emblem).
The diamond brooch with shamrock, is in fact the symbolic flower of Northern Ireland.
The three shamrocks are setted pavee in white gold,setted white diamonds, emeralds and the three leaf clovers are made of nine diamonds in heartshaped settings , made by William & Son, 2012.

emeralds. The Queen has worn these brooches on numerous occasions, often
while visiting the nation represented by the emblem.
